Thanks, I'll have to check them out. Last time that I checked online for some degus the closest ones where in Canada, that is a ways from here and across the border. But thanks for the advise.

They're so cute....they are also in Lansing, but closer than Canada, which is a good thing. I'll have to discuse it with my dad.

Well seeing as they're coming from a shelter, you may be able to organise with the people from the shelter to drive the degus half way if they're quite far from you, I've heard of people doing this quite often

Good luck on getting a new degu. I have three now. My first one was from a shelter and the second two came from a breeder but they were given back to her, because the first owner didnt have the time for them. They are a lot more intresting in a group.

I have 3. I thought I was getting 3 sisters, but Lilly, Milly, and Nilly turned out being Lilly, Milly, and WILLY! OOPS! So I am probably going to have more this month!

congrates on the babies to be! i had a mix up in sexing too.. my babies came our local humane society who rescued them from a degu mill, so they came seperated, they thought that the males were seperate from the females, but i guese not!
