My name is Laurie. I live in the U.S., Pennsylvania, to be precise.
I have 3 degus. Thought I bought 3 sisters, only to find later (after hearing mating noises), ones a boy!
So I had to change his name. I now have Lilly, Milly, and WILLY! I will probably be the proud owner of several more degus later this month, I suspect! ;D
I love my furry little creatures! I don't think I have ever been so fascinated by anything this much before. What a curious species. I love finding out about them.
People in this area know nothing about degus. I get the weirdest looks from people when I tell them that I have them. Even the pet store that I purchased them from knew nothing about them. I feel as though I rescued them! They weren't even being fed the proper food.
Well, you can probably tell that I'm obsessed with degus, and very excited that we may be having pups. If it happens, I'll let you know!
