Hi there, I'm Mare. I am the owner of a precious little fuzz butt (a nickname I call her sometimes) degu named Goku Vegeta. (My son is a DBZ fan!) Her sister Yusuke Yurimeshi (I named her after another anime lol) died last October. :'(
Goku is adjusting well, although she is convinced she is now human. She is hauled around to every room we go in and is most often found running with us or hanging out in a pullover sweater, which she loves to climb into and fall asleep in. She's very bright and comical. She knows several "commands" and comes, hops up on her house, will kiss, and jump when you tell her to...provided she is in the mood. I think she has a bit of a cat attitude sometimes. lol!

Mare who is ALWAYS looking for a supply of actual degu food in the U.S. My girl is sooo picky that she only eats about half of the food that is in the blend of food she gets. She actually throws the pellets she hates out of her cage if I let them slip in to her food bowl.
